Crystal lets you clear all unread notifications with a pull-down gesture

When you wake up every morning with a stack of unwanted notifications cluttering up your Lock screen and Notification Center interfaces, you might be compelled to clear them all in one fell swoop.

A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed Crystal by iOS developer Antique lets you do this with by dragging downward on the Lock screen or Notification Center interface where your notifications appear, as shown in the screenshot examples above.

To invoke Crystal, merely place your finger at the top of the notification list and pull straight down approximately two-thirds of the way down your display. Doing so lets you clear all notifications from every app.

If you have a 3D Touch-capable handset, then iOS 11 users can already clear all notifications by pressing firmly on the “X” button at the top of your notification list and then tapping the Clear All Notifications button; iOS 12 users can do this without 3D Touch, but for those jailbroken on iOS 11, Crystal is just a means of doing this on all devices whether they support 3D Touch or not.

Crystal doesn’t come with any options to configure, but we hope that a future update will integrate pull distance adjustability so that users can set their own sensitivity for the gesture.

If you’re interested in trying Crystal for yourself, then you can download it for free from Cydia’s Packix repository. The tweak works on all jailbroken iOS 11 devices.
