Partly Sunny

In the mood for a new weather app? Check out Partly Sunny. It offers a nice blend of sharp design, robust features and accurate information—it’s powered by Dark Sky. Features include quick glances, hour-by-hour graphs, day-by-day graphs, NOAA data, 3D Touch support, and more. I know the weather app category is already pretty crowded, but this one looks like it’s worth checking out. Partly Sunny is available for $2.99.

RAW+

Speaking of crowded app categories, how about a new camera app? RAW+ is a minimalist camera for purists and professionals. While other camera apps may offer a “manual” mode, this one is always manual with shutter and ISO controls always on-screen and easily accessible via large sliders. It also has manual focus override, custom white balance settings, RAW shooting, grid & level overlays, and more. And the app model is interesting: take 100 photos for free, but if you like it you’ll have to pay $5 to keep going. RAW+ is available for free.

Momento GIFs

Momento is an awesome app for creating, editing and sharing GIFs. Using a smart detection algorithm, it scans your Camera Roll and automatically creates beautiful moments. You can then supercharge your GIFs with extras like filters, stickers, text and special effects, and then share them directly within apps like iMessage, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Sunpolis

In the new game Sunpolis, you play the Glorious Bird, who is tasked with bringing light back to the enigmatic city by guiding the sun home. Features include physics-based bouncing and levitation gameplay, unique meditative soundscape, beautiful art design, 3D Touch support, and Game Center integration. If you’re looking for a new relaxing, yet challenging, game to play this weekend, this one is worth checking out. Sunpolis is available for $1.99.

Island Delta
