Libon Voicefeed is like Google Voice for those who can’t use Google Voice

Google Voice is an exceptional tool, but the problem is that it just isn't available worldwide. If, like some of the iDB team, you happen to have the audacity to live outside the United States, then you are completely out of luck.

While Google promises that Google Voice is indeed on its way beyond American borders, there are alternatives out there that do the same thing, and if you're an iPhone owner, one of those alternatives is Libon Voicefeed from developer Orange Vallee.

A free download from the App Store and compatible with a wide range of mobile phone carriers across the world, Libon Voicefeed plugs the hole left by Google's reluctance, or inability, to bring Voice to the world. And it does a very good job of it, too...

Verizon expands LTE network across Florida and several other markets

Folks with Verizon-branded 4G iPads will be happy to hear that the carrier is flipping the LTE switch on in several new areas over the next few weeks. This includes both expansions, and brand new markets, in multiple states.

North Carolina and Florida residents look to be the biggest winners in this round of activations, as Verizon's 4G network will soon be available in Jacksonville, New Bern, Panama City and Palm Beach. Full list after the break...

Unlocked iPhone users on T-Mobile again reporting 3G data speeds

T-Mobile and the iPhone have a love-hate relationship. While the carrier often bashes the handset in its print ads and TV commercials, it obviously benefits from the 1 million+ unlocked iPhones on its network, and would love an official partnership.

Facebook App Center screenshot surfaces

About a month ago, Facebook announced that it was going to be launching a cross-platform app store encoded entirely in HTML5. Dubbed App Center, the store would contain both third-party titles, as well as Facebook's own creations.

BannerDisable adds a new “Do Not Disturb” option to your iPhone

BannerDisable is a jailbreak tweak that adds a new "Do Not Disturb" toggle switch to the iPhone's settings app. This switch allows you to globally enable or disable banner notifications on the fly, which can be very useful if you're trying to get some rest or take a meeting.

Virgin Mobile offering prepaid iPhone with $30 a month unlimited data beginning June 29

Confirming recent rumors, Virgin Mobile USA, a Sprint Nextel subsidiary, today announced that it will be offering Apple's iPhone on a prepaid basis beginning June 29. The iPhone 4 and 4S will be available with a month-to-month unlimited data option costing $30 a month, with data throttling once you get past your monthly allowance of 2.5 gigabytes.

With this development, Apple's device will soon be officially available on a total of sixteen carriers in the United States, three of them being prepaid telecoms: Boost Mobile (another Sprint property), Cricket Communications and Virgin Mobile...
