Springtomize 2 — the ridiculously in-depth Springboard tweak package — was updated today to include native iPad support among other things.

This means that you can now run it in full screen mode without having to enable the iPad's 2x mode for iPhone apps.

It also means that it gains a few new iPad centric features along the way. Check out our video walkthrough of the new Springtomize 2 in action...

Lucky Dude Buys a Brand New iPad 2 for $65 from a Goodwill Store

If this isn't pure luck, then I don't know what it is.

Reddit user djrjr is a frequent shopper at his local Goodwill store. A few days ago, as he was browsing the store, he came across a brand new 32GB iPad 2 wifi in the box, selling for $65.

Confused about such a low price, he asked the manager to make sure everything was correct. The manager confirmed that this brand new iPad was indeed selling for the bargain price of $65...

Apple 3G Devices Briefly Banned From German Online Store

I woke up this morning finding out that the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and 3G iPads had been banned from sales on Apple's online store in Germany, due to an injunction won by Motorola Mobility, following the company's first big legal victory against Apple in the country a couple months ago.

By the time I took a shower and got to my computer though, the ban had already been lifted. That was quick...

Apple Looking to Make iOS a Part of Your Workout Routine

Just because Apple is in the consumer electronics business, doesn't mean it doesn't have its eye on other markets. Just last month we saw the company launch a digital textbook program, and it's also shown a lot of interest in the personal fitness space.

For the last several years, Apple has teamed up with Nike to bring fitness-tracking software to its iPhone and iPod products. Now it looks like it's trying to take that idea to the next level with its latest patent application regarding an iOS app that tracks and shares your workout information...

NFL Releases Free Super Bowl App for iOS

This Sunday, much of the United States will shut down as millions of people tune into this year's Super Bowl. The annual event, which determines who is the best of the best in the NFL, is one of the most-watched TV broadcasts in America.

And for those of you lucky enough to be attending the game in person (ticket prices average around $3800), or if you just want to see what all of the fuss is about, the NFL just released the official Super Bowl app for iOS...

Apple Working on Fix for iTunes Match “Explicit Song Matching” Bug

Apple has been having a rough time with its iTunes Match service over the last few months. The product was more than a month late to market here in the US, and its international rollout didn't go much smoother.

Well it doesn't look like Apple's troubles are over quite yet. Cult of Mac is reporting that it has discovered a bug in the iTunes Match service that replaces songs with explicit lyrics with their cleaner counterparts...

Online Petition Against Apple’s Factory Conditions Receives 160,000 Signatures in a Week

Apple has received some slack of late over the perceived conditions of the Chinese workers who build its hugely popular products. With the eyes of the world currently firmly fixed on the likes of Foxconn, people are beginning to look more closely at the real cost of building our iPhones and iPads.

An online petition, set up to urge Apple to protect its Chinese workers has received 162,000 signatures in just over a week, with the number continuing to grow.

Allegations of unsafe working conditions and long hours have been rife of late, with Apple's main manufacturing partner, Foxconn, at the center of the issue...

Apple Says There is No iMessage Bug

A few months after Apple released iOS 5 to the public last year, a major bug was found in the software's new iMessage application. Several users reported that their iMessage accounts continued to remain active after wiping their devices.

Gizmodo added fuel to the fire yesterday when it published several images of strange iMessage conversations it was receiving on an iPhone after visiting an Apple Store for tech support. Apparently, when a Genius inserted his personal SIM card into the phone to test the device, the handset locked on to his iMessage account...

Apple Hires Xbox Live Executive to Lead App Store Marketing Efforts

If there was any doubt about Apple's intentions to push further into the mobile gaming space, the company just put them to rest. 9to5Mac is reporting that Apple has just added a former Xbox LIVE executive to its team of talent.

This marks Apple's third major pickup from the gaming community in less than 12 months. You may recall that it hired on some big names from Nintendo and Activision last year, and now it's stuck its hand in Microsoft's pocket...

See, Apple is Not So Evil After All

Apple has been taking a lot of heat lately for failing to effectively pursue safer working conditions in its overseas manufacturing plants, but also for outsourcing its product assembly to China – because you know, they're the only company outsourcing to China...

If there is one thing the company is doing well these days, it's their charity donation program, which was initiated by Tim Cook as he became CEO of Apple last year.
