Apple TV supplies slowing ahead of possible refresh

You can't beat a bit of detective work on a Sunday morning, and that's exactly what 9to5Mac did this weekend. While rumors of an Apple branded television are very much in vogue right now, the old warhorse the Apple TV is is becoming even more left out than it already was.

The question 9to5Mac poses is whether the humble Apple TV is set for an update soon, and the evidence certainly suggests that it might actually be the case, thanks to a bit a nosey around various online retailers and the help of an anonymous tipster...

Samsung and Apple have had sort of a war over the past couple of years. The war hasn't been only about patents, but the two companies have also competed very closely in smartphone and tablet sales.

This is not the first time Steve Jobs has been honored by the Academy. In 2002, he received a Technical Grammy Award for his work on the iPod, which we all know revolutionized the music industry...

Access iOS 5’s Notification Center from your Lock Screen with Bulletin

One of my favorite features about IntelliscreenX is the fact that you can access your notification center from your lock screen. I don't use the popular tweak anymore, it was too much for me. And that's really the only element I miss.

Since I dropped Intelliscreenx, I've been looking for a developer to come up with a standalone jailbreak tweak to enable lock screen notification center access. And finally, it's here. Introducing Bulletin...

Forget iPhoto, save all of your Photo Stream photos to a folder on OS X

One of my favorite components of iCloud is Photo Stream. I love having instant access to all of my photos on both my iPhone and iPad. Having instant access to my photos on my laptop is awesome too, but there is one major caveat.

You see, to access your Photo Stream photos on your Mac computer, you have to go through iPhoto — which I hate. It takes forever to load and the UI is terrible. Luckily, I've just come across a software-free way to access my Photo Stream photos on my computer...

MirrorWidget is a jailbreak tweak that places a mirror in iOS 5's Notification Center. The "mirror" is just an image from either the front or rear facing camera; you can switch between the two, and you have the ability to snap a photo in the process.
