Control your device through your Notification Center with NCControl

Have you ever thought to yourself, “I wish there was a jailbreak tweak that allowed me to control my device through my Notification Center?” Well if you happen to fall into that unique category, your wish has just been granted.

Introducing NCControl by Ron Melkhior. The tweak enables you to access your device while your Notification Center’s drop down menu is active…

Installing NCControl makes your Notification Center’s background completely transparent. And not only can you see through the drop-down window, but you can touch through it as well.

From what I’ve seen so far, NCControl only works when you’re in an application (it doesn’t work at the Home Screen). And if you’re like me and have multiple widgets in your Notification Center, the tweak won’t do you much good. Text and images [obviously] make it impossible to see or do anything.

But for those of you with empty Notification Centers, NCControl can provide a heads-up display of sorts as you browse through Safari and other applications. If you’re interested, you can find the tweak in Cydia, in the BigBoss repo, for free.
