The iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, and iOS 7 are once again the big topics on this latest episode of Let’s Talk Jailbreak. Cody, Jeff, and Sebastien all share their launch day experiences, and talk about their favorite new features to be found in iOS 7 and with the iPhone 5s. The trio also discusses the iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 jailbreak, along with their thoughts on sacrificing a jailbreak for the sake of iOS 7. It’s our longest and perhaps most entertaining episode ever. You don’t want to miss the fun.

I was first in line at the Verizon store and the guy there told me none of the Verizon stores in the country had the gold in stock at launch. So of course, I called up my sister who was waiting in line for a gold iPhone down in South Carolina that she wouldn’t be able to get the gold iPhone. She was upset. But anyways, I got just what I had set out for: a Space Gray 32 GB model and I am very pleased with it. The power button is just a tiny bit loose (but aren’t they all a while anyways, I’m just sad it was from the start, my only gripe), but not everything will be perfect with the first batch of iPhones launched (and I knew this). I did the same thing Sebastien did at the store telling the sales rep upon arrival that I didn’t want insurance, or a case, or a screen protector, and that I hadn’t slept all night… just to let me leave in peace with my iPhone so I could go home and sleep, ha. I bought a black matte apple logo, along with black matte skins (to place on the glass panels) for the back of the phone, along with a Belkin TrueClear screen protect which I love, because it has this awesome matte texture (as you can tell, I love matte). And I did purchase a Sena Sarach Ultra Slim Pouch in black with grey/white stitching that has access to the 3.5 mm headphone jack, and perforated holes for the mic and speaker grills; this is so I can plug in and listen to music while having the phone in the pouch and in my pocket while on the go, like when I’m on the train to school. All in all, I’m extremely pleased with the TouchID sensor as it works fantastically well, and the camera as it is a step up from the 5 (although not immensely). Not a huge upgrade from my 5, but since I’ve had white my past two iPhones, the Space Gray is very, very refreshing as Cody did mention. And just so I don’t leave Jeff out of the conversation, I am going to preach to a bunch of people about your battery comment, and how people complain that they have seen worse battery life when in fact, they are just playing with their phones too much. Just put the phone down before you turn into a robot zombie is what I’ll say. 😀

Guys i have an ip4s running ios 6.1.3 and I’m wondering if I can update it to ios7 without the original sim from Verizon, by the way I’m from the Philippines and the phone was just given to me..
    Thank you.

No way am I going to give up jailbreak. I’m still data unlimited and plan to keep it. So MANY reasons not to upgrade…. I love my free wifi tethering. No way will I give up my screen video capture ability for iOS 7. I use it way too often. iOS 7 is amazing but I have way too many hacks like my home screen autorotate I use for driving. I’m a Apple fanboy but I’m also all about using my device to it’s greatest capacity and to me iOS 7 would be a terrible downgrade for me. I upgraded my iPad to iOS 7 and it has changed my experience for the better. But I LOVE MY JAILBREAK!!!! NO JUST NO TO IOS 7 UNTIL THERE’S A PUBLIC JAILBREAK!!!!!

The only tweaks I really miss are quick reply/ability to clear notifications from lock screen, ability to kill all apps in multi-tasking, and Springtomize2 for things like getting rid of icon labels and some status bar items.
