Apple TV+ presents reactions from real-life CODAs on the premiere date of the new film ‘CODA’

CODA is the newest film for Apple TV+. Apple acquired it straight out of the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, where it won a variety of different awards and plenty of critical acclaim. It's one of the more interesting film releases for the streaming platform to date. Which is why it's a little frustrating to see it arrive on the streaming service without much fanfare at all.

This tweak prevents the YouTube app from nagging you to subscribe to YouTube Premium

As a YouTube Premium user, I’m glad that I no longer need to cope with the barrage of endless pop-ups that would attempt to upsell me on an upgraded YouTube experience comprised of support for background playback, offline video downloads, and ad-free viewing.

Having said that, I sympathize for the free YouTube users out there who are nagged time and time again to upgrade to YouTube Premium. While it’s annoying enough to try and watch videos with ad inserts every few seconds, the user experience is even more heavily degraded by those persistent money-grabbing pop-ups being added to the mix.

Apple is updating the iWork app icons in macOS 12 Monterey

Sometime in the near future, Apple is going to launch the next major update to its desktop operating system. With macOS 12 Monterey, the company is welcoming plenty of changes to the software. Including some tweaks to the user interface and overall aesthetic. And that will apparently be the case for the iWork app icons as well.

Apple TV+ film ‘Finch’ starring Tom Hanks sets premiere date for November 5

Earlier this year, it was reported that Tom Hanks (Forrest Gump) would star in another film heading to Apple TV+ after starring in the World War II drama Greyhound. We learned the film was called Finch, and that Apple had outbid a variety of different companies to secure the streaming rights. Unfortunately, at the time, we didn't know when it would actually start streaming.
