Apple seeds first iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 betas to public beta testers

Apple introduced iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 back in June, during the keynote for this year's Worldwide Developers Conference. Right after that event wrapped up, the company seeded the first developer betas for the upcoming software updates. Which means public beta testers have had to wait until July to get their chance with the prerelease software. The good news is, the wait is over.

A lot of people like watching sporting events from home, especially when it comes to National Football League games. It's a pretty big deal! Which is why it makes sense why Apple would want to try and lock down the streaming rights to a lot of those games, so it can get even more subscribers to Apple TV+. And it sounds like we'll finally know whether or not that will become a reality pretty soon.
