As part of ongoing renovations, Apple's flagship store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan will feature a dedicated broadcasting booth for the company's Beats 1 Radio station, according to a person familiar with the matter who spoke with MacRumors. It will be a “very unique area” for broadcasting Beats 1, said the source.
Rapper and entertainment mogul Shawn Carter, known to most as Jay-Z, has removed his albums from Apple Music and Spotify. As noted by MacRumors, all of his solo albums quietly disappeared from the two apps overnight.
It's not yet known if the decision was Carter's call, given that he owns the struggling music service Tidal, or a directive of wireless carrier Sprint, who recently purchased 33% of the company. Either way, the move is about exclusivity.

Chinese company called Dacom Electronics has created a pair of wireless headphones that look remarkably similar to Apple's $169 AirPods with the custom W1 chip that first went on sale in December.
As reported by Business Insider, Dacom via its recent FCC filing is now seeking approval to sell its knockoff AirPods to customers in the United States.
Twitter in December 2016 launched 360-degree video streaming on Periscope, its live video broadcasting service.
