The event, which lasts for 2 hours 19 minutes and 44 seconds, is where Apple reveals the new gold and rose gold Apple Watch Sport colors, the iPad Pro, the new Apple TV, and of course, the iPhone 6s. Read on for the full video embed.

On top of new bands, Apple announced two new anodized aluminum cases for the entry level Apple Watch yesterday: Gold, and Rose Gold. Armed with my best camera (that would be my iPhone 6), I visited my local Apple Store to see for myself what the new Apple Watch Sport cases look like. I must say I was a bit skeptical about how these finishes would look like on the aluminum version of the device, but after going hands on, I must say I am impressed.

Apple unveils new Apple Watch models and bands, shipping today

Apple kicked off its big "Hey Siri" event this morning by talking about the Apple Watch. The company announced several new upcoming apps from the platform, including Facebook Messenger, a GoPro companion app, and a really cool app called AirStrip which is billed as a "game-changer for healthcare."

In addition to new apps, Apple also unveiled new Watch models and bands. Perhaps the most interesting new models is the Apple Watch Hermes, which was developed in conjunction with the popular luxury designer. There are also new gold and rose gold anodized models for the Apple Watch Sport.

New Product Red Apple Watch Sport band retail packaging leaked in photo

It's been long suspected that Apple would lend some stage time to the Apple Watch at today's big iPhone event, and this photo, first tweeted by Larry Greenburg, makes it more evident that that will be the case.

A new Product Red Apple Watch Sport band retail package was the focus of a somewhat blurry photo, but it definitely looks like the real deal. Of course, we've seen this band before, so it's not a huge surprise that we're seeing retail box photos so close to Apple's event. What could this mean for the rest of the rumored Apple Watch-centric releases at the event?

NYT corroborates revamped iPad keyboard, says less pricey gold Apple Watch coming

With just a few days left until Apple's 'Hey, Siri' iPhone 6s event, the New York Times newspaper reported Friday the event will include announcements of a refreshed keyboard attachment for iPads and new metal finishes for Apple's watch, including a less pricey version of the Apple Watch Edition.

Earlier this morning, 9to5Mac hinted that the new keyboard will be for a rumored 'iPad Pro,' that the site claims is in tow for Wednesday's announcement.

Apple Watch estimated to have sold more than one million units in China

In China, an extremely important market that accounts for nearly one-fifth of Apple's global revenues, the Apple Watch has sold more than one million units, according to a new estimate by a Chinese company called TalkingData.

The numbers, shared by Business Insider, indicate that sales of the Apple wearable in the 1.33 billion people market have exceeded 1.07 million total devices.

Review: WatchWeb for Apple Watch kinda brings web browsing to your wrist

Like the Apple TV, your Apple Watch lacks the built-in Safari browser. Even though the case can be made quite easily for surfing the web on a big screen TV from the comfort of your couch, who in their right mind—and why— would want to squint at the tiny screen to read webpages?

No one, that's right. But still, what if you could browse the web from your wrist? If you argue that an Apple Watch web browser is a terrible, terrible idea, I'm with you.

But what if there was a way to quickly look up information, sports scores or anything else on the Apple Watch that Siri can't do for you? Enter WatchWeb, a web browser of sorts for the Apple Watch by Conifer Apps.

It's a novel idea that certainly has legs, but boy is it iffy. I had mixed results during my hands-on time with WatchWeb so read on my review for the full reveal.

LG targets Apple Watch Edition with limited-edition Urbane Watch Luxe

LG on Monday announced the Urbane Watch Luxe, a special version of its Urbane lineup that it hopes will appeal to folks in the market for an Apple Watch Edition.

Android Wear now works with the iPhone

As has been rumored for quite some time now, Android Wear now officially supports iOS. In a blog post on the Official Google Blog entitled  "Android Wear now works with iPhones", Google outlines the specifics behind the iOS compatibility.

Right now, only the LG Urbane, one of the latest Android Wear devices to hit retail, works with the latest update that's rolling out to users throughout the day. Eventually, however, more Android Wear devices from Huawei, Asus, and Motorola will work.

Apple Stores gaining Mobile Try-On program for Apple Watch

As Apple continues to refine the shopping experience at its brick-and-mortar stores under the watchful eye of retail chief Angela Ahrendts, the company is now introducing a brand new retail initiative called Mobile Try-On.

As per 9to5Mac, Mobile Try-On encourages customers to try out Apple's wearable device by walking around the store with a demo unit on their wrist paired to an iPhone running the Apple Watch companion application.

Is Apple Watch the next frontier for ads?

I just finished tracking a run using the free version of Map My Run, and after saving that workout directly from my Apple Watch, I was presented with the above screen. Granted, I use the free ad-supported version of the Map My Run app, and while I do expect to see ads on the iPhone app, it was kind of surprising to see an ad right there on my wrist.
