Sometimes, it can be easy to forget that in 2021, there is an iPod touch still available to buy. Apple actually launched the thing in early 2019, so it's not even that old! In some of the more recent versions of the official YouTube app, it seems that the app developers have replaced the Explore tab with the newer Shorts tab in an effort to push YouTube’s new Shorts feature on more users.
I for one don’t find YouTube Shorts to be all that interesting. In fact, I really only use YouTube for full-length videos.
