iPhone Customers Remain Loyal to AT&T

The industry was shocked when Apple announced that the iPhone would only be available on AT&T in the summer of 2007. While many phone makers tried to get their handsets on as many carriers as possible, Apple entered into an exclusive agreement with AT&T that lasted until February of this year.

Despite the new competition from Verizon, Sprint, and regional carriers like C Spire, iPhone owners have remained loyal to AT&T. Perhaps the nation's biggest GSM carrier isn't as evil as we all thought?

Research Finds That 62% of iPads Never Leave Home

Apple designed its tablet to be a portable device. It even shaved inches (and weight) off of the original iPad to make its second generation tablet more mobile. But still, at nearly one and a half pounds, with a 10 inch display, how portable can it really be?

The results from a recent survey by McKinsey and Company suggests that there aren't many folks using their iPads on the go. In fact, the living room was found to be the number one place that people pull out the iPad...

How to Enable Native FaceTime Over 3G Feature in iOS 5

In the onslaught of rumors that we saw leading up to Apple's Fall iPhone announcement, there was talk that iOS 5 would finally allow users to make FaceTime calls over 3G. As most of you know, FaceTime has been limited to Wi-Fi since its introduction.

As it turns out, the option actually exists in iOS 5, it's just hidden. Apple obviously isn't ready to release it to the public. But as usual, hackers have figured out how to enable the secret feature...

New GO App Allows You to Share Content Anonymously

GO is a new iPhone app that allows users to upload photos, videos, and other content. Although the premise sounds familiar, the service actually has some features that set it apart from the competition.

For starters, content is sorted by location. Upon opening the GO app, users are met with a map interface that shows the areas where others have uploaded media to the service. Once a location is selected, the app displays a list of content from that area...

Kindle Fire vs iPad 2: Bootup Times, Web Browsing, and Netflix Streaming

I finally acquired my highly anticipated Kindle Fire this morning, and I've been putting it through its paces all day long.

It's a decent first attempt by Amazon, and it has tons of potential, but it still suffers from the fact that it's a first generation device.

Even still, we thought it only appropriate to compare Apple's latest tablet to Kindle Fire. How does the iPad 2 stack up to Amazon's debut entry into the tablet race? Check out the interesting — yet ultimately unscientific — video comparison inside...

iPads Proving to be Extremely Effective in the NFL

The iPad has invaded dozens of industries over the last year. Folks in the field of enterprise, education, health, and politics have seen the benefits of the iOS-based slate. Even professional football teams are starting to realize the potential of Apple's popular tablet.
