A first look at Swype for iOS 8

Why type when you can swipe, indeed. I know that swiping instead of tapping is merely a fun feature and not necessarily a productive way to type. Nevertheless, I love to swipe. The iPhone has this extraordinary touch screen device that uses amazing gesture-based technology. Why not use it to its full potential?

Swype uses gesture-based actions to the fullest. You can tell that this company has been around for a while. The dev team has perfected the swipe-to-type technology.

ProCamera has always been a tremendously useful and capable mobile photography software. The new features released today have reinforced my long-held belief that ProCamera should be part of every photographer's arsenal.

10 things you shouldn’t do to your iPhone 6

With every new iPhone comes a new controversy, and this year is no exception as the "bendability" of iPhone 6 has already been put to the test, clearly proving that when force and pressure are applied to the device, it will actually bend.  What most people would qualify as good old common sense doesn't seem to be the case here, so to avoid any kind of confusion, we've come up with a list of things you shouldn't do to your iPhone 6.

A string of bad news for Apple continues with a revelation published Thursday on The Daily Dot that London-based computer security expert Ibrahim Balic gave Apple a heads-up about a vulnerability he had discovered in iCloud, but the company discounted the severity of the issue and ignore the problem for six months.

As you know, the issue blew up in a major way, becoming the topic of late-night shows, after several celebrities with weak Apple ID passwords saw their nude photographs hijacked and posted on the web.

iPad Air 2 and rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro said to run graphics-enhanced A8X processor

Apple's upcoming iPad Air 2 and the rumored 12.9-inch iPad, dubbed by the media the ‘iPad Pro’, will both run an enhanced “A8X” processor with improved graphics, GforGames claimed Thursday citing Taiwan’s TechNews [Google Translate].

Last year's debut of the iPhone 5s, iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display driven by the A7 chip broke Apple's previous practice of maintaining two separate mobile processor families, one for iPhones and 'X' version powering the iPads.

The fact of the matter is, the A7 and A8 chips are powerful enough to drive graphics on both smartphone and tablet displays. That said, if there's an A8X chip in tow for the rumored 12.9-inch device, chances are it'll come outfitted with an ultra high-resolution screen that would require a more powerful GPU than that found inside the A8 chip.
