AdThief malware found infecting 75,000 jailbroken devices

Security researcher Axelle Apvrille recently published a paper about AdThief, a malware aimed at hijacking ad revenue from a reportedly 75,000 infected devices. First discovered in March 2014, and also known as "spad," the malware, which comes disguised as a Cydia Substrate extension, was found to replace the publisher ID of publishers with the one of the malware creator, effectively attributing all ad revenue to him.

Apple adds more diversity to its Executive Profiles web page

Just three days after releasing its diversity report in which it was revealed that its employees are 55% of white and 70% male, Apple made an interesting move by adding five Vice Presidents to the Executive Profiles page on its website.

Of course, it could be the cynic in me believing that adding two women is just pure coincidence, but it's definitely a timely addition.

Pangu 1.2.1 jailbreak fixes Windows issues

Just three days after the release of Pangu 1.2.0, PanguTeam just released yet another update, this time for Windows users only. Pangu 1.2.1 fixes an issue where the Windows version of the utility would sometimes crash.

If you're a Windows user and were having problems, then Pangu 1.2.1 should fix it.If you haven't had any problems, then there is obviously no reason for you to do anything at this time...
