Print From Anywhere With Your iPhone Using Google Cloud Print

The untethered society is becoming more of a reality each and every day, with the latest development being ubiquitous cloud printing from Google.

Google Cloud Print allows those of you on iOS devices to print directly from Google Docs Mobile or Mobile Gmail, over the air to any printer configured to use the service.

Toshiba’s Tablet Website Disses the iPhone And the iPad

You mad? Toshiba's teaser site for their upcoming tablet line looks like any regular Flash website on a normal desktop web browser. Visit that same website from an iOS device such as the iPhone or iPad, and not so much.

While it's obvious that the Flash aspects would be omitted from the iOS versions of the website due to Apple's well documented lack of support for the plugin, it's not the lack of Flash that has people talking this time...

Need More Evidence That the White iPhone 4 is Right Around the Corner?

We've heard numerous reports, claims, and rumors about the white iPhone 4's inevitable release, but nothing ever panned out. Recently, however, the tide seems to be turning and the rumors are looking a lot more credible.

You no doubt read our report on Best Buy's inventory system, which lists Apple's mythical product as being due in late February. Now another important Apple partner is giving the white iPhone rumors signs of life.

The latest partner to re-list the white iPhone 4 is none other than AT&T. If that doesn't lend credence to the rumor, then nothing will...

Woman Hangs Up on $10,000 iTunes Gift Card Phone Call

When Orpington, England resident Gail Davis tapped "install" to download Paper Glider, she got a free game. Unbeknownst to her, the install also yielded her a $10,000 iTunes gift card; the result of being the 10 billionth app downloaded in the history of the App Store.

I guess you could say that Davis had impeccable timing. Unfortunately her timing skills didn't carry over to an extremely timely phone call; one from Eddy Cue, Apple’s VP of iTunes.

You see, Davis mistakenly perceived the phone call to be nothing more than a prank, so she hung up the phone...

Want an Off-Contract Verizon iPhone? Prepare to Pay More Than You Would With AT&T

At the end of the day, the Verizon iPhone 4 is just an iPhone 4. Sure, it of course contains a few changes; changes like a CDMA chip, and subtle adjustments to the antenna arrangement, but in essence, it's still just a normal iPhone 4.

In fact, the iPhone 4 is likely cheaper to manufacture for Apple, as all products generally fall in price as revisions are made, and cheaper parts become available. That's just the normal lifecycle of any mass produced electronics product. They don't get more expensive to make, they become cheaper.

So why is Verizon having users pony up an extra $50 dollars in order to purchase an off-contract and non-subsidized iPhone for use on their network?

Best Frienemies Verizon and AT&T Featured in iPhone 4 Commercial

Fierce rivals AT&T and Verizon were featured in a commercial together to prove the point that two is better than one. If one didn't know the backstory, it would almost appear that the two rival networks were cool with each other.

Only a company like Apple could pull something like this off. Can you imagine any other phone warranting a commercial that includes a cameo from two competing networks like AT&T and Verizon? I don't think so.

XBMC Now Available For the iPhone And Other iOS Devices

I can honestly say that I never expected to see XBMC running on my iPhone in a million years. It's still kind of surreal adding the Cydia repo, downloading the packages, and installing the whole shebang.

The good news is that it's definitely XBMC, in fact it looks like the devs applied a shrinking ray to my 50" TV, because the port is dead on from a looks perspective.

Unfortunately, though, that's where the inherent problems start to arise, at least on the iPhone's teeny touch screen...

Apple’s App Store Hits 10 Billion Downloads

Well, it's official. The Apple App Store has hit yet another milestone in record time, with over 10 billion downloads to its name. That's truly an amazing feat for a merchandising method that didn't exist just a few years ago.

As we reminded you in a previous article leading up to this event, the App Store hit the 1 Billionth download a little less than 2 years ago. It's crazy to think that since April 2009, the App Store has served up over 9 billion downloads, but it has...
