‘TruPrint’ Brings AirPrint Compatibility to Your Unsupported Printers

AirPrint -- a great concept -- not so great in execution. That's because Apple only provides AirPrint support to a small percentage of the world's printers.

Thanks to Intelliborn, the creators behind the premium apps MyWi, My3G, and others; that's all about to change.

That's because TruPrint promises to add support to the hundreds of printers that Apple has unapologetically neglected...

Apple Going Frugal? Executive Tim Cook Hints at Cheaper iPhone

During an interview with Bernstein analyst Toni Sacconaghi, Apple COO and acting CEO, Tim Cook, again fueled rumors of a cheaper iPhone.

Cook mentioned that he wanted Apple to be a company “for everyone,” and not “just for the rich.”

If Cook's words sound familiar, remember that earlier this month rumors abounded about a cheaper iPhone Nano. Is this Apple just having fun with the latest rumors, or is there real truth behind this story?

Dev Team Confirms Existence of New iPhone 4 Unlock

Following up on the report we brought you last night concerning the status of an iPhone 4 Unlock, the Dev Team has essentially confirmed those reports today.

@MuscleNerd, an integral member of the Dev Team, tweeted today that along with an iPhone 4 unlock, an unlock might also be possible for the 3G and the 3GS on some of the newer basebands.

The good news is that he went on to say that "[the iPhone 4] is 1st priority..."

Who Will Provide the iPhone 5’s Camera Upgrade?

The iPhone 4 is no slouch when it comes to taking decent point and shoot snapshots, and 720p video, but it definitely falls behind dedicated point and shoots.

Recently, we've heard rumblings that the iPhone 5's camera sensor could be bumped up from 5 Megapixels to 8 Megapixels.

As it turns out, OmniVision -- provider of many of the previous iPhone camera sensors -- has come up with an improved method of gaining higher pixel density while taking up the same amount of space.

That would make it a no-brainer that Apple would use this upgraded sensor in the iPhone's annual refresh, but it looks like there may have been a slight change of plans...

Is an iPhone 4 Unlock For Basebands 3.10.01 and 2.10.04 Right on the Horizon?

If you've been using an iPhone 4 on basebands 3.10.01 or 2.10.04, your inability to unlock has undoubtedly been an issue of great concern.

Time and time again, we get our hopes up, only to come away disappointed.

Let's give Apple credit, they've done a decent job with keeping these basebands locked down for a significant amount of time, but the gates could be breached in the very near future...

The iPhone: It Only Does PS3 Games

Ladies and gentlemen, I've got good news, and I've got bad news.

The good news is that playing PlayStation 3 games on your iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad is a certain possibility.

The bad news is that you're going to have to wait a little bit longer for the developer of everyAir to release a version of its software with PS3 support...

‘No Screenshot Flash’ Disables the Flash Effect When Taking a Screenshot

Annoyed by that flash effect that happens every time you take a screenshot? Apparently you're not alone.

No Screenshot Flash is a tweak that performs the exact duties that its name implies.

Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that you can pretty much customize every facet of your iPhone, but is such a simple tweak even worth your time? Does it improve the user experience in any way?

New Light Shed on Apple’s Upcoming Music Streaming Plans

I have to admit, I was quite upset when Apple bought Lala.com, bringing an abrupt end to what was an awesome music streaming service. But the prospect of Apple introducing their own streaming service using Lala's technology quickly put my pain at ease.

At least that's been the ongoing rumor since the Lala deal went down back in December of 2009. Ever since, the rumors have swirled regarding Apple's next move, climaxing with the purchase of a gargantuan 500,000 square foot server farm capable of handling all of that extra bandwidth.

Will Apple finally introduce a streaming service similar to Lala, or are they headed in a different direction?

Leaked Panel Lends Credence to Larger Screen and Thinner Bezel For iPhone 5

Ladies and gentlemen, it seems that's it's very likely that the iPhone 5 will be bigger, faster, stronger.

Right on the heels of rumors that the iPhone 5 will feature a bigger screen, what appears to be the digitizer for Apple's next generation phone has leaked into the wild.

The leaked part showcases what is obviously a slimmed down bezel that would allow for increased screen size. Earlier rumors suggested that the screen size would increase by half-an-inch to 4 inches, and this new leaked part certainly lends evidence to that...

Verizon CEO: Short iPhone Lines Due to Strong Online Sales

Man, oh man; just what would we do if we didn't have the Internet to fall back on as an excuse?

As we've pointed out in the not too distant past, the Verizon iPhone 4 wasn't as well adopted as the talking heads at Verizon wanted us to believe.

Now they've given us a reason as to why we saw virtually no one queuing in line on that fateful morning, February 10th...

NoVoiceMail Nixes Your iPhone’s Voicemail Button

Who in their right mind would want to get rid of their voicemail button? Apparently, at least a few people, that's who.

That's because a new jailbreak tweak recently showed up on the Cydia store entitled NoVoiceMail, and I'm betting some of you have already downloaded it.

What a perfect tweak for those of you who never check their voicemail, for those of you who never return Auntie May's repeated phone calls…
