Apple TV+ film ‘On the Rocks’ is coming soon to DVD and Blu-ray

One of the things Apple TV+ needs is a library of content, which will help keep people subscribed to the service when they run out of new Ted Lasso episodes to watch. Which is why, normally, you won't see any of the films or TV series get a physical release. But it looks like On the Rocks, which stars Rashida Jones and Bill Murray, is going that route anyway.

Back in August, with about as little fanfare as possible, Apple announced a trio of new features coming to iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12 Monterey, and watchOS 8. There are three in total, each of which fall under the company's new, concerted efforts to help protect against child abuse and sexual exploitation. And while the features were seen as a positive move in general, when it came to the specifics of one of the new features, there was a lot of pushback. And apparently it worked.

Today, we get word that the upcoming wearable might not be a standalone unit as some rumors have suggested in the past. It may need a direct connection to one of Apple's other devices to work.

Apple continues to tweak its formula when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic, especially as it relates to its physical retail stores, corporate headquarters, and employees. However, the company also continues to avoid doing one thing in particular, even as many people out there in the wild suggest it should. And that would be make an actual mandate for vaccinations against COVID-19.

‘Crossy Road’ is hopping its way over to Apple Arcade

Despite the fact Apple Arcade now has over 200 games in its library, there's still room for more. One of the biggest boons to the monthly subscription service was the adoption of classic titles. Or just reimagined versions of mega-popular games like Angry Birds and others. And now the ridiculously popular hopping game Crossy Road is getting the "+" treatment with a reimagined title heading to Apple's gaming service.
