The Supercut visionOS app streams Netflix in 4K resolution with Dolby Vision video and Dolby Atmos multichannel audio on Apple’s Vision Pro headset.
Not only does Netflix not want to make a native visionOS app, but the company even chose to disable its iPad app on the visionOS App Store. Vision Pro owners are supposed to watch Netflix in a browser instead, a sub-par experience.
Supercut – Streaming Hub, an app by 19-year-old Australian developer Christian Privitelli, changes the equation by bringing a first-class Netflix experience to the visionOS featuring native playback controls and high-fidelity video.
Plus, you can add other streaming services, such as YouTube, by entering their URLs in the app’s settings. Now you can watch Netflix on your Vision Pro with the correct aspect ratio and your surroundings automatically dimmed.

Like Juno, Christian Selig’s YouTube Vision Pro player, Supercut packages YouTube’s web view in a native visionOS app with modified HTML code to make the interface fit the visionOS user interface guideline.
The result is an app that feels much more responsive than watching YouTube in a letterboxed Safari window. Handy shortcuts to movies, TV shows and search are available in the tab bar on the left, like with other native visionOS apps.
You can download Supercut from the visionOS App Store in exchange for a one-time payment of five bucks. There are no additional in-app purchases, ads or tracking.
Prime Video and Plex
Supercut also packs in basic Amazon Prime Video support that offers more resolutions to choose from than the iPad version of Prime Video allows.
Privitelli is already working on the next update, which will bring a dedicated cinema VR environment (similar to the Apple TV app) with realistic reflections and lighting to immerse yourself entirely in the movie.
