Twelve South now offers a local web store to residents of the United Kingdom and the 23 countries that comprise the European Union (EU).
Most of iDB’s readers are in the United States, so this news won’t be meaningful to them. But I live in Croatia, one of the 23 member states in the EU, and am very excited about the new European web store at twelvesouth.eu.
Thankfully, this isn’t a poor man’s version of Twelve South’s full-blown US store—when I browsed it this morning, all the popular accessories were available. Sometimes Twelve South products would take longer to ship, but now I can order them from the EU store, and they’ll ship from their European warehouse.
With local checkout, I don’t have to cover the import tax in the EU and local delivery fee as opposed to ordering from Twelve South’s US store.
Twelve South’s European store opens for business
The new European store carries the largest selection of Twelve South products in the region, from the HiRise charging stands to the vintage BookBook cases. The latest releases like the versatile BookArc Flex, Curve Flex, and HiRise Pro laptop stands are represented as well. Checkout is in your local currency with all taxes included.
Because the United Kingdom exited the EU, Twelve South operates a separate UK store at twelvesouth.co.uk. Summing up, Twelve South now operates web stores in the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU and Australia at twelvesouth.com.au.

Twelve South is Apple-only
Twelve South makes premium accessories exclusively for Apple’s products. The company was founded in 2009 by husband and wife Andrew and Leigh Ann Green with the motto “We’re not just Mac friendly, we’re Apple only.” It certainly helped their endeavor that the Greens are former fashion designers.
Since its inception, Twelve South has helped usher in an era of quality accessories with premium design for the technology lifestyle. Since 2017, the company has been headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina.
