As we get excited for next year on this New Year’s Even edition of iDB’s Wallpapers of the Week, we wanted to take a look back through a year of backgrounds. In this stroll through a wallpaper round up, check out the 2023 Top 10 iPhone wallpapers. To earn a top spot these posted were required to be posted in 2023 and visited the most by you!
Top 10 iPhone wallpapers for 2023
Thanks to your contribution to the wallpaper collection. Without your continued visitation we wouldn’t have a thriving wallpaper community. The following list is in descending order of the least-to-most visited wallpaper posts of this year, that were posted this year.
The most outstanding theme is a strong preference to have official Apple wallpapers as soon as they are shown in an Apple event. This is followed closely by having modded versions of those same images. Check out the gallery below and find links to each of these original posts for downloads.

Although this edition was posted just two weeks ago, y’all loved the imagery and flocked in for downloads. In a short few days it was already one of the top 10 visited wallpaper posts. Stay warm!
#8 Natural Titanium wallpapers
iPhone Pro switching metals was a huge deal. Apple went on about it in the announcement and a TV-ad campaign pushed the update even harder. These Titanium colored iOS 17 wallpapers matched it all up.

Gradients are an annual favorite in the gallery. These creative versions used multiple colors with a hard split on the gradient style.

One of our top featured artists, @AR72014, gave out these images as pre-Christmas gifts to his followers and quickly became number six.

Taking a queue from mother nature, these gradients were intended to capture the colorful beauty of different locations at different times of day, during different seasons of the year. Its a great collection for those looking for a very smooth gradient with inspiration.

Our 10th Anniversary
This summer marked my 10th year doing Wallpapers of the Week for iDB. It has been an incredible journey and I look forward to even more years of download.
