Today’s installment of the Sunday gallery addition takes play on the gradient theme and makes it a little edgier. The split gradient wallpaper collection below is created by @jianoliu. Follow the account for almost daily downloads of original creations to grace your background.
The split gradient in the following downloads is not a continuous flow of changing color. Rather, with the split gradient, one or multiple colors sit stark contrasting next to one another. Then, then gradient moves away from a line where the two opposing colors start.
Add on top of the dueling contrast, the alternate downloads have a wavy, prism-like effect applied on top. With the addition of the layer, the colors become more complex and the gradient receiving even more in dissonance.
Of the below downloads, my favorite is listed first. The navy and orange very much contrast each other in the image. Then, each color very softly transitions away into a lighter, less bold version of itself.
