Pickleball Score Tracker, NumberTabs, Auro, and other apps to check out this weekend

It’s the weekend ya’ll — a long weekend for those that get Monday off for Labor Day — and that means it’s time for our Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have some great picks for you including a Pickleball score tracker, a notepad for calculations, and a clever voice memo app. And as always, we’ve selected a fun game for you to check out.

Pickleball Score Tracker

I simply cannot fight it anymore. Pickleball is an unstoppable force, and you can either get onboard, or get left behind. You know they just built a massive family restaurant by me based around this dumb sport? Anyway, if you’ve caught the fever, this Apple Watch app may interest you. It’s a Pickleball score-keeper, and it makes it easy to track and share who is currently beating who. Multiple players can sync up to the app for real-time scoring, and it will even announce the score periodically. Plus, the app will track your Pickleball games as a workout in the background, so you’ll get fitness credit for the activity. Cool.

NumberTabs

Here is a neat idea — it’s a notepad for your calculations. You know when you need to jot down important information or an idea, you use a notepad? Well with NumberTabs, you can do this for important numbers and calculations. You can manage multiple calculations simultaneously, use common spreadsheet functions in your tabs to do advanced calculations, edit individual terms or operators with the in-app calculator, organize your calculations with tags, and much more. For even more features, you can opt for the $2/year premium plan, which lets you do things like scan in calculations from print, and sync to the cloud.

Auro: Voice memos summaries

Here is another clever app that can perhaps replace a stock app, or your current go-to app. It’s called Auro, and it aims to be your all-in-one voice notes app that empowers you to record, organize and recall your ideas effortlessly. So you record your voice notes like normal, within the app, and then it can do things like transcribe your memos, auto-generate key points and summaries, and even organize your notes into intuitive categories. The UI gives off wellness/meditation vibes, so if you’re hoping for more of a stock look you’ll be disappointed, but the automated stuff certainly seems worth checking out.
