Palette lets MacDirtyCow & kfd exploit-susceptible device users colorize their UI

If you’re interested in colorizing various user interfaces of your iPhone or iPad and don’t have a jailbreak at your disposal, then a new add-on for the MacDirtyCow and kfd exploits called Palette by roeegh might interest you.

Palette for MacDirtyCow UI colorization.

This add-on, intended for iOS & iPadOS 16 devices only, can add a splash of custom color to things such as your Calculator app, Settings app, Control Center interface, and Status Bar, among other things.

Examples of the colorization effects are depicted in the screenshots above, and they showcase how Palette can be used to personalize your device and make it stand out from a crowd of stock and otherwise ordinary iPhones.

Because this add-on doesn’t require a jailbreak, you can use it by acquiring it from the Misaka package manager. Misaka can be installed on MacDirtyCow and kfd exploit-vulnerable devices.

If you aren’t already taking advantage of Misaka, and you’d like to begin, then you can follow our detailed walkthrough post that teaches you how to install and use it.
