MoodUp, Bear, SongBot AI Music, and other apps to check out this weekend

Welcome back to the weekend everybody, it’s time for another Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have some great picks for you, including an easy-to-use mental health tracker, a beautiful Markdown note-keeper, and an AI music studio. And as always, we’ve selected a fun new game for you to check out!

MoodUp – Breeze Mental Health

I think there is a mental health or wellness app out there for everyone, and if you haven’t found yours yet, check out MoodUp. It’s a fun and easy-to-use app that helps you track and improve your mental health. It can help you learn what makes your mood change or swing, and how things like sleep, food, and activities can affect it. It also encourages coping skills to deal with bad moods and behaviors, and tracks patterns in your mood changes over time. Some features are hidden behind a paywall, but you do get 50% off right now with the launch discount.

Bear – Markdown Notes

I’m not sure if we’ve mentioned Bear in our AOW roundup before, but given that it just got a massive 2.0 update, I thought it was worth pointing to. You just don’t see many new, well-designed notes apps launching these days like we used to in year’s past. Anyway, if you haven’t tried Bear before it is beautiful. It’s definitely a notes app you’ll want to use, and it has all the features you need like Markdown support, tons of search tools, in-app sketching, cross-platform, and much more. Some of this stuff is hidden behind a paywall, but it’s still useable enough to check out.

SongBot AI Music

Finally, an AI app for closet creatives like me! SongBot AI Music is exactly what it looks like — an AI-infused app that will help you create your own music. It can help with everything from writing lyrics to doing vocals, adding in music, and even creating music videos.  The app is designed like an early 2000s alt rock website, and it looks like a lot of the features are hidden behind a subscription plan, but I can’t tell you how excited I am to make some AI music this weekend. I’m thinking something like Who Let the Dogs Out: Part II.

 Lost in Play

Lost in Play is a journey through childhood imagination with thoughtfully crafted puzzles and colorful characters. Play as a brother and sister duo on an adventure to find their way back home. Between reality and fantasy, the siblings explore the enchanted forest of a horned beast, start a rebellion in a goblin village, and help a team of frogs free a sword from a stone. Yeah, tell me this doesn’t sound like an awesome weekend game. There are 30+ unique puzzles and mini-games, derpy chickens, and no dialogue. Inspired by nostalgic TV shows.
