TrollStore gets more enhancements in new v1.0.9 update

Another day, another update for TrollStore, the increasingly popular .ipa  perms-signing utility for iOS & iPadOS 14.0-15.1.1 by iOS developer Opa334.

TrollStore, which allows users to effectively take advantage of an exploit in supported firmware versions, can permanently install .ipa files without the need to re-sign them every seven or 365 days, as you would need to with a sideloading utility such as AltStore or Sideloady with either a free or paid Apple developer account.

In the latest update to TrollStore, dubbed version 1.0.9, users can expect the following changes:

  • A workaround for an ldid bug where the entitlements of root helpers would be stripped when signing them
  • Improvements for the app list in apps tab (icons, versions, and bundle identifiers)
  • Add an option to open an app to the menu that appears when when pressing on an app in the apps tab

The latest TrollStore update is recommended for all existing and prospective users and is available for free from the developer’s GitHub page. Existing users can take advantage of a special OTA link provided by the developer to update more quickly.

If you haven’t already used TrollStore, then we show you in a recent tutorial how you can install it on your jailbroken iOS or iPadOS 14 device. The process is different for iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1 devices, as there is no jailbreak currently for those versions.
