Michael DelCiello, SVP of Strategic Development, says in Comcast’s press release that the new experience is launching first on Apple TV. The streamlined interface is designed to make it easier to “find something to watch—whether that means getting back to a favorite show or movie, or finding something new.” The app is a continuation of an earlier Apple-Comcast partnership which brought Apple’s TV app to Comcast’s cable boxes, including the Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex and XClass TV.
