A quick glance reveals why the BookBook is such an iconic leather case. It looks like an ancient Harry Potter spellbook, which can deceive and deter thieves. But make no mistake about it, this “book” opens to reveal a MacBook inside. And you don’t even have to pull your MacBook Pro out of this case in order to use it—just unzip your BookBook, open your MacBook and work away. Read: Tips for Mac beginners

Since BookBook looks like a vintage book, it conceals your MacBook. We hear endless stories of homes and cars being ransacked and robbed, but MacBooks hidden in BookBooks were left untouched. Instead of buying a case that makes your MacBook a target, disguise it with a BookBook.

Similar to BookBooks available for other Apple devices, the newest edition for the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro sports a hardback cover, a crush-resistant spine and other noteworthy solutions. There’s a hidden portfolio pocket inside along with a smart suspension system to keep all straps off the screen and hold the case’s top cover upright (great for small coffee shop tables and counters). And because each case is handmade and individually weathered, no two are alike.
