Apple Card customers can now get 3% back when they shop at Ace Hardware

One of the benefits associated with Apple’s credit card, the Apple Card, is getting 3% back from select retailers when making a purchase. It’s a relatively small pool of businesses, all things considered, but the good news is that it’s expanding at least. And this time around it covers your home improvement needs.

Today, Ace Hardware has announced that it has become the first (and only, for now) home improvement shop to offer 3% back for Apple Card customers. This is available for customers in the United States, and it includes shopping in physical stores, on the company’s website (AceHardware.com), and through the official Ace Hardware iOS app.

Per today’s announcement:

As the only home improvement retailer to offer 3% Daily Cash back on Apple Card, we are thrilled to offer Ace customers even more value when they use Apple Card with Apple Pay to shop online, in-app, and at Ace stores in neighborhoods throughout the U.S.,’ said Kim Lefko, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Ace Hardware. ‘This benefit coupled with our award-winning service and best-in-class brands will deliver even more value for consumers as they confidently maintain and upgrade their most valuable asset – their home.

As is par for the course, the 3% offering is only available for when Apple Card customers use Apple Pay to make their purchase. That goes for in-store shopping, too. If an Apple Card customer uses the physical card to make a purchase, they’ll get the standard 1% back.

After making the purchase, the 3% Daily Cash will be automatically applied to the Apple Cash card stored in the Wallet app, as is standard practice. So, if you find yourself at an Ace Hardware and want to see just how easy it is to apply for and use an Apple Card with Apple Pay, now you’ll get even more cash back for your efforts.

As far as other businesses that support 3% Daily Cash, those include Nike, Exxon, Mobil, Uber, Uber Eats, T-Mobile, Duane Reade pharmacies, Panera Bread, and Walgreens.

Good news today for Ace Hardware customers who also have an Apple Card!
