The Odyssey Team has released an updated version of the iOS & iPadOS 14-centric Taurine jailbreak tool this Sunday morning, officially bringing it up to version 1.1.3.
In the announcement Tweet, the Odyssey Team said that Taurine v1.1.3 would include the following changes:
– Runs uicache for Sileo for first time users
– Updates built-in libhooker to v1.6.9
– Adds support for custom dyld shared caches
While the changes are mostly minor, the update is recommended for everyone who currently takes advantage of the Taurine jailbreak and for anyone who plans to use it in the future.
Libhooker v1.6.9 made its first appearance as a beta last September, with a second beta following in January with preliminary iOS & iPadOS 15 support. The pre-bundled version in Taurine v1.1.3 is no longer in beta.
To get the latest version of the Taurine jailbreak tool, you can head over to the official Taurine.app website and sideload the latest version of the jailbreak app with AltStore. Upon doing so, simply re-run the newly sideloaded jailbreak app to apply the latest patches.
