Apple TV+ debuts official trailer for ‘Twas the Fight Before Christmas’ documentary about too much holiday cheer

How much is too much cheer? Even when it comes during the holidays? Apparently one town’s citizens have figured out the mental math on that one, and have even gone as far as to take those numbers to one man living in North Idaho. Below, you can see the first official trailer for what that actually looks like.

Twas the Fight Before Christmas is a brand new documentary coming soon to Apple TV+. Today, the streaming service debuted the first official trailer for the upcoming story, which details the life of one North Idaho man by the name of Jeremy Morris. Morris is a self-described fan of Christmas, but for the town where he lives it’s apparently gone too far. Which is why the neighborhood where he lives is apparently waging a war against “Mr. Christmas.”

You can check out the trailer above.

Here’s the official description of the upcoming documentary:

Twas The Fight Before Christmas follows the story of a North Idaho neighborhood turned upside down by one man’s obsession with bringing Christmas cheer to all, through the biggest community Christmas event America has ever seen. Christmas-loving lawyer Jeremy Morris’ plan hits a snag when the home owners’ association informs him that the event violates the rules of the neighborhood. A contentious fight over the festivities erupts and things snowball out of control. As the situation escalates, the film asks the question, who wins when different rights and interests collide? Director Read pieces together the polarized perspectives in this quirky Christmas tale about freedoms, with a message about differences and tolerance at its heart.

The documentary is directed by Becky Read. It will be available to stream on Apple TV+ beginning Friday, November 26, 2021.
