It’s time for another episode of our Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have a new podcast client with SharePlay support, a mysterious new push app, and a collect-all app for your notes and links. And as always, we’ve selected a great new game for you to check out.
Shadow
Shadow is an extremely lightweight podcast player with support for Apple’s new SharePlay feature, meaning you can listen to your favorite podcasts over FaceTime with friends or family members. Other features include smart downloads, playback speed control and widget support.
Push It
Ah, push it. Push it real good! Now normally I don’t like to write about apps that haven’t fully launched yet, but when Push It crept into the top of the free list in the App Store, I had to mention it. I’m still not exactly sure what it does past, but I went ahead and reserved a cool username.
Pasteline
Pasteline is a simple, collect-all app for your notes and links. Features include customizable and sharable folders, and a nifty Inbox interface that allows you to triage your links, notes and ideas like you do your email. I guess that can be a good thing or bad thing, depending on your email habits.
Artifact – 3D puzzle
This is a very cool idea for a game. Basically you get to Play an archaeologist that must re-assemble broken ancient artifacts. There are 40 3D puzzles in five themes with unique atmosphere and music: Greece, Egypt, China, America and Africa. The visuals are stunning and mechanics intuitive.
