Apple TV+ offers up a first look at the Korean sci-fi thriller ‘Dr. Brain’

Back in March of this year, Apple TV+ announced that it had secured its first Korean-language series, which is based on a popular web toon based out of South Korea. Not only is this the company’s first Korean-language show, it also marks the launch of the Apple TV 4K and Apple TV+ in the region as well.

So, as you can imagine, there is a lot of attention being placed on the show itself. We saw the first official trailer for the upcoming sci-fi thriller back in October of this year. It measured in at just over two minutes in length, and it showed off quite a bit of the mind-bending journey that the main character is going to go on throughout the episodes in the first season.

Speaking of, that main character is played by Lee Sun-Kyun of Parasite fame. In the series, he plays a renowned neuroscientist that is on a search for “the truth.” To do that, the scientist will muck around in other people’s memories. As you can imagine, things get a bit wonky and not everything might be as exactly as it seems.

Today, Apple TV+ shared a first look at the series. With it, we get to hear from the cast and crew of the show, and we get glimpses of new footage as well. You can check it out in the video above.

The show will be directed by Kim Jee-Woon (A Tale of Two Sisters, I Saw the Devil). Dr. Brain is being produced by the Korean company Bound Entertainment for Apple TV+. In addition to that, Kakao Entertainment, Studioplex, and Dark Circle Pictures are also producing the upcoming series.

Dr. Brain is now streaming on Apple TV+. Do you plan on checking it out?
