Before Apple kicked off this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, the company announced this year’s finalists for the annual Apple Design Awards. Now, with the conference about to wrap up for the year, the winners have been revealed.
As is par for the course, these apps really stand out for a variety of reasons. Apple has several different categories to recognize app developers. In this case, Apple is recognizing apps that promote social impact, visual and graphics, innovation, delight and fun, interaction, and inclusivity.
As Apple confirmed earlier this month, there were roughly six nominations for each category. You can check out the other apps that were nominated right here. But, below, you’ll find the winner for each category. There was more than one winner per category.
From today’s announcement:
This year’s Apple Design Award winners have redefined what we’ve come to expect from a great app experience, and we congratulate them on a well-deserved win,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. “The work of these developers embodies the essential role apps and games play in our everyday lives, and serve as perfect examples of our six new award categories.
