There are some companies out there who have jumped at the chance to adopt MagSafe, while other third-party accessory makers are taking their time before jumping on the bandwagon. Apple MagSafe Charger

This is about as straightforward as it gets. Apple’s MagSafe Charger is designed to attach to the back of your iPhone 12 model and charge the device. The MagSafe magnets will align the puck right where it needs to be to prioritize wireless charging. And it works through MagSafe cases, too.

It supports 15 volts for input, and it also supports Qi wireless charging as well. So you can place an AirPods wireless charging case on the puck to charge up that accessory, too. It supports the iPhone 8 and newer models for wireless charging as well.

Belkin MagSafe Car Mount

There aren’t a lot of these options out there, as far as MagSafe-certified options are concerned. Belkin’s is still one of the best available, though. It’s a vent mount for your automobile, allowing you to secure it in place, and then put your phone up against the MagSafe panel to secure your phone in place. It makes it easy to reach and handle.

However, one thing to be aware of: this is just a mount. It won’t provide any power to your handset. You’ll still need to connect a Lightning cable to your iPhone 12 model to actually charge the battery (or use Apple CarPlay).

Belkin says it offers a cable management system, too. Yo can also rotate the vent mount, so you can see the device in portrait or landscape. And the MagSafe magnets make it easy to secure or pull off the phone when you need.

Apple MagSafe Leather Wallet

This was one of the announcement accessories when Apple debuted MagSafe. It’s a slim wallet case and that’s it. However, it is crafted from specially tanned and finished European leather. It will pick up a natural patina over time and with regular usage.

Of course, it relies on Apple’s MagSafe feature to securely snap onto the back of the iPhone 12 model. The wallet can fit three cards at the same time, and it’s shielded so the cards are protected.

No tricks with this leather wallet, just gets right to the point. It’s available now from Amazon in Baltic Blue, Black, California Poppy, and Saddle Brown.

RAVPower MagSafe-compatible wireless charger

Another wireless charger. This one’s from RAVPower, and it comes with a very useful part of the equation: a power adapter. RAVPower throws in a 20W USB-C power adapter in the box. It’s small, too — the same size as Apple’s 5W adapter.

Meanwhile, the charging puck itself features MagSafe so it will properly align with your iPhone 12 model to provide the best possible wireless charging experience. Just be aware that it won’t provide up to 20W wireless charging. To get that fastest option, you’ll need to charge with the cable. You can charge with a MagSafe case attached to your phone, too.

Apple MagSafe Duo Charger

This wireless charger does offer a little something different: support for both the iPhone 12 lineup (and other future MagSafe products, probably), as well as the ability to wirelessly charge the Apple Watch. This is a small wireless charger, designed to fold so it’s easy to travel with.

While it’s MagSafe-certified, that wireless charging portion can also charge an iPhone 8 or newer thanks to its Qi support as well. It can also charge your wireless case for your AirPods or AirPods Pro.
