Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, recently sat down with CBS This Morning to talk about current events. And, at the same time, tease an upcoming announcement.
CBS This Morning teased the upcoming interview, which is set to be released on Wednesday, January 13, on its official Twitter account earlier today. The short video clip is just over two minutes in length, and does well enough teasing the full interview. The primary focus appears to be Cook’s impressions of recent events at the United States Capitol Building, and the overall situation in general.
Still, the preview of the upcoming interview also includes a tease for something big coming from Apple, too. Apparently the chief executive is going to announce a “major new initiative” on Wednesday as well. Interestingly, while we might all think a new product is in line, that’s not the case. CBS This Morning confirms it’s “not a new product” for all of us to look forward to.

We’ll have to wait and see what comes from the announcement. But at least the good news is that we don’t have long to wait.
