An authorized Apple reseller is taking MagSafe Duo orders with a ship date of December 21-29

Having recently earned an FCC clearance, Apple’s travel-friendly MagSafe Duo wireless charger is now available to pre-order from an authorized Apple reseller in Switzerland. Digitec Galaxus is now taking orders for the device with a ship date of December 21-29, AppleInsider reports.

Keep in mind that these delivery dates could be just temporary placeholders or educated guesses. As you know, Apple has yet to announce the availability of the MagSafe Duo.

From the product’s Apple Store description:

The MagSafe Duo Charger conveniently charges your compatible iPhone, Apple Watch, Wireless Charging Case for AirPods and other Qi-certified devices. Just place your devices on the charger and a steady, efficient charge begins on contact. The charger folds together neatly so you can easily take it with you wherever you go.

The $129 accessory provides 14 watts of wireless power via a 27-watt power brick, sold separately. Apple’s 30-watt USB-C charger is $50 and the MagSafe Duo is priced at $129.

Basically, the MagSafe Duo is a $180 wireless charger if you want it to work at its fastest speed — and you don’t even get the theoretical maximum of 15 watts of fast-charging power.

The Apple Store lists the MagSafe Duo as “coming soon”.
