Starting later this month, buy an eligible Apple device and get three months of Apple Arcade for free

Apple is ready to offer up extended free trials for some of its services again if you buy eligible products.

Along with the official announcement of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini yesterday, Apple confirmed in the fine print that it is offering extended free trials for two of its major services: Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade. This time around we’re focusing on the latter, because the former’s free trial is the same the company launched last year.

But, for Apple Arcade, if you purchase a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, and/or Mac, you will get three months of free Apple Arcade service. The catch here is that the deal is actually set to begin Thursday, October 22. So as long as you purchase a new, eligible product, you’ll be able to start your three month free trial of Apple’s gaming service later this month.

As for the Apple TV+ promotion, Apple is once again offering a year’s worth of free service if you buy a new, eligible Apple product that can stream the available content. However, if you purchased a new product last year and opted for the free trial then, you can’t get another year for free.

The new iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are certainly covered as eligible devices in this promotion.

If you haven’t already tried Apple Arcade, and if you plan on buying a new Apple device soon, will you take advantage of this free trial to try it out?
