Celebrate International Day of Yoga on June 21 with a new Apple Watch Activity Challenge

If you are an Apple Watch owner that enjoys closing Activity rings to win challenges, there is a new one coming on June 21.

9to5Mac was first to point out the upcoming Activity Challenge, which will go live on Sunday, June 21 (which is also Father’s Day) to celebrate International Day of Yoga. According to the report, this means that Apple Watch owners who want to achieve the latest goal will need to participate in 20 minutes of yoga.

As is par for the course, Apple Watch owners can use the Workouts app to track the 20 minute yoga session, or any other similar app that adds a workout routine to the stock Health app.

Celebrate International Day of Yoga and earn this award on June 21 by doing a yoga workout of at least 20 minutes. Record your time with any app that adds workouts to Health.

This is another stay-at-home challenge in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and 20 minutes isn’t a long session at all. Of course, not everyone enjoys yoga so this might not be a challenge to win for some out there in the wild.

The Apple Watch will let owners know about the incoming Activity Challenge before it goes live. Do you think you’ll be participating this time around?
