Logitech’s Combo Touch keyboard case with trackpad for 3rd generation iPad Air, 7th generation iPad now available

When Apple announced the new iPad Pro models earlier this year, it also introduced the new Magic Keyboard with a built-in trackpad (which you can buy now). But Logitech wanted in on the fun as well, so it unveiled the Combo Touch keyboard.

The primary difference between Apple’s newest keyboard accessory and Logitech’s is the fact that the latter company’s isn’t designed for the new iPad Pro models (or iPad Pro models in general). Logitech’s offering is designed for the 7th generation iPad, and the 3rd generation iPad Air. The Combo Touch keyboard is also significantly less expensive, coming in at just $149.95.

Instead of a May release date, Logitech has opted to launch the keyboard accessory with a built-in trackpad a little bit early. If you’re interested in the accessory, you can buy it right now from Apple’s online store. In-store pick-up is obviously not an option for many of Apple’s physical retail stores across the globe right now, so you’ll need to get it delivered.

If you opt for the fastest shipping method, the new Combo Touch keyboard will arrive on Friday, April 17. The free shipping option will see it arrive on Monday, April 20.

Logitech’s Combo Touch keyboard features a full-size keyboard, which is backlit. It has a dedicated holder for the original Apple Pencil, and the built-in trackpad features support for multitouch gestures. The case also supports the Smart Connector on both the iPad models, so the case doesn’t require any batteries or any wires to function. It also protects the back of the tablet while installed, and the front when the case is closed.

The case also offers a kickstand, a 50-degree tilt, and it can be positioned into four different modes: drawing, reading, typing, and viewing.

The Logitech Combo Touch keyboard is available now for the 3rd-gen iPad Air and 7th-gen iPad. Do you plan on picking one up?
