If you have iOS 13.4, you can go back to the Home screen by using your voice.
If your iPhone or iPod touch has the iOS 13.4 software or newer, or you have an iPad with iPadOS 13.4 or later, you can try this out for yourself by saying something along the lines of:
- “Hey Siri, take me back to the Home screen”
- “Hey Siri, go to the Home screen”
- “Hey Siri, Home screen”
This is a convenient voice command for those who like to multitask handsfree.
iOS 13.4 also brings a new accessibility option allowing your iPhone to respond to the “Hey Siri” hot phrase even when faced down or locked. These and other new features in iOS 13.4 will be released for public consumption when the software update is commercially released in March.
For reference, the inaugural developer beta of iOS 13.4 dropped on February 5, 2020. The iOS and iPadOS 13.4 updates are currently being tested by Apple’s developers and public testers.
