‘See’ gets a first look featurette ahead of November 1 launch on Apple TV+

While initial reviews of Apple’s upcoming original content appears to be mixed, Apple’s still chugging ahead towards the November 1 launch date for the video streaming service hoping for the best.

As such, the marketing effort is not quite finished. Apple on Wednesday, just two days before Apple TV+’s launch on November 1, launched a new featurette for the upcoming series See starring Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Game of Thrones) and Alfre Woodard (The Lion King, Captain America: Civil War). It’s a quick and easy way to get a look at the upcoming sci-fi/fantasy series introduced by the stars of the show.

Here’s how Apple describes it:

Members of the cast and crew of the Apple Original series SEE introduce the new epic drama. Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss, the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see—who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who believes it’s witchcraft and wants them destroyed. Alfre Woodard also stars as Paris, Baba Voss’ spiritual leader.

See is one of the launch titles for Apple TV+, which means it will be available on day one, November 1. Earlier this month the company premiered the series, giving it the red carpet treatment (without the red carpet).

The featurette is just under two minutes long and, along with the brief introductions from the cast members, it includes quite a bit of footage from the show as well. It’s available to watch just below.

Are you excited to watch See? What other pieces of original content from Apple TV+ are you excited to watch?

When Apple TV+ launches, it will cost $4.99 per month after a 7-day free trial. If you have purchased, or plan to purchase, a new or refurbished Apple product (as of mid-September) that can stream Apple TV+, you will get a year’s worth of service for free. What’s more, if you’re an Apple Music subscriber with a student account you’ll get access to Apple TV+ at no additional charge.
