Apple Arcade is one of Apple’s newest subscription services, and with it being priced at just $4.99 per month and allowing for access to dozens of games at one time, it’s already seen its fair share of positive feedback.
Aside from the pricing, it also comes down to content, and Apple Arcade not only has a wide variety of titles to choose from, all of the games available through the service are well-made, offer up a range of experiences, and don’t rely on ads or in-app purchases. Both indie developers and big name publishers are working with Apple for the subscription service, with plenty of recognizable names building titles for users to play.
For example, Hipster Whale has just announced that it will be bringing its newest game to Apple Arcade “soon”. It’s called Crossy Road Castle, and, as the name suggests, it brings some of the familiar faces from the developer’s ridiculously popular Crossy Road game into a new setting.
This time around players will be tasked with hopping around a large castle, clearing one room after another, collecting coins and dodging obstacles along the way. Up to four players will be able to enjoy Crossy Road Castle at one time.

As is par for the course with Apple Arcade games, this means Crossy Road Castle will be an exclusive to Apple’s subscription service, and won’t be available on Android. When the new game does launch, however, players will be able to enjoy the platformer on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and tvOS.
Unfortunately there is no exact release date for Crossy Road Castle, but with the launch trailer now out in the world, hopefully we don’t have to wait to long before it arrives.
