Sileo Team releases Sileo and Sileo Demo v1.4.1 with URL fixes

The Sileo Team introduced an updated version of the Sileo package manager Saturday morning, officially bringing both the Sileo Demo and the jailbreak-centric version of the app up to version 1.4.1.

The announcement was shared mere hours ago via the Sileo Team’s official Twitter page:

From what we can gather, the latest Sileo update resolves a problem that could occur when users would attempt to open certain URLs in the app. As of version 1.4.1, tapping on links should behave as expected.

Those jailbroken via Chimera or Electra will find this update waiting to be installed after refreshing their sources in the Sileo app. Unfortunately, Sileo still isn’t officially supported on Pwn20wnd’s unc0ver jailbreak despite previous promises for an official fork of the app to be released for other jailbreaks besides those spearheaded by CoolStar.

Non-jailbroken device users, in addition to unc0ver users, can install the Sileo Demo instead, and it too has also been updated to version 1.4.1. The Sileo Demo can be side-loaded onto any compatible iOS device to browse repositories and test features in the Sileo app, but it can’t be used to install or manage jailbreak extensions as the real deal can.

If you’d like to install the Sileo Demo, then you can grab it from this link, provided by the Sileo Team.
