GameStop to Begin Selling Apple iDevice Lineup, Now Accepting Trade-Ins

As of this week, GameStop has begun accepting iDevice trade-ins at its retail outlets for in-store credit. 9to5Mac is reporting that GameStop will soon offer Apple's entire lineup of iDevices for sale, and it's speculated that GameStop is accepting new and used trade-ins first to make room for new products this Fall, like the iPhone 5.

Resellers are gearing up for a mass influx in used iPhone trade-ins, with Apple's next smartphone slated to make its debut before the end of next month.

TomTom’s iPad App is on the Horizon

Are you a TomTom iPhone app user? Ever wish that your little 3.5" screen was just a bit bigger for GPS navigation? Perhaps, I don't know, say.. 9.7" big for example? Oh, you have? Then you're in luck, as the sat nav company has announced that it will be bringing its popular iPhone app to the iPad – and it won't cost existing owners a penny.

AnyAttach: Attach Any Type of File to Your iPhone’s Email

The concept of attaching a file to a file to an email is practically as old as email itself. With the iPhone, you can attach photos and videos to your email, but that's pretty much where the fun ends.

This works fine for stock iOS installations where access to the native file system is restricted. For jailbroken iPhones, however, it's a definite limitation; hence the need for a jailbreak tweak like AnyAttach.

AnyAttach is a tweak that allows you to attach any file present on iOS's file system, directly to your outgoing email...

Samsung Pulls Galaxy Tab 7.7 From IFA

Poor Samsung just can't catch a break, can it? With the ongoing legal wrangle between the Korean company and the masterminds in Cupertino, Samsung has found itself having to remove its products from sale across the globe, as well as postponing the release of new ones.

As if to really compound matters, Samsung's recently announced that its Galaxy Tab 7.7 slate has now been removed from the IFA show currently taking place in Germany. While Samsung hasn't officially confirmed the reason behind the removal of its latest and greatest from display, it's a fairly safe assumption that it has something to do with Apple. And the courts...

Deutsche Telekom Already Taking iPhone 5 Pre-Orders

Apple hasn't even announced the iPhone 5 yet, let alone a release date and details of availability, but that hasn't stopped Deutsche Telekom from starting its pre-orders.

The German telecoms giant, and owner of T-Mobile, has taken the unusual step of offering pre-orders for a device that doesn't actually exist to the public because it foresees "supply bottlenecks." If previous iPhone releases are any indication, the carrier may very well be right...

We've told you all about Tapsteroids before – the fast-paced action-shooter from the two-person team that is UNAgames. Tapsteroids was released just a few days ago on September 1st, and it's already being featured by Apple in their 'New & Noteworthy' section of the App Store.

Apple Manufacturers Begin iPhone 5 Production for October Release

A report from Japanese site Macotakara claims that Apple OEM manufacturers have begun iPhone 5 production for an October launch. Foxconn will allegedly assemble 85% of the units, with Petragon accounting for 15% of production volume.

While iPhone 5 units are being assembled, Apple has yet to install iOS 5 on the devices. This is due to the fact that iOS 5 is still in the final beta stages, and the software will be installed on the new hardware when it reaches its final GM version in the coming weeks.
