At the "Spring Loaded" Apple event on Tuesday, April 20, Tim Cook and company announced updates to the iPad Pro lineup. The biggest feature enhancement, other than touting a desktop class M1 Apple silicon chipset, is the Liquid Retina XDR display. Shining at 1,000 nits of brightness, with 1,600 nits of peak brightness and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ration, this screen is going to be phenomenal. Today, Apple announced new iPad Pro, iMac, Apple TV, and AirTag hardware. Most striking is the all new, completely redesigned iMac line up, which has not been significantly updated since around 2009. The decade old design gives way to an 11mm thin chassis, poised on top of a minimal stand. The "hello" wallpaper used to announce the device harkens back to when Steve Jobs launched the Lisa. Earlier today, Apple confirmed an upcoming April 20th media event with 'Spring Loaded' invitations. With the invite comes a cryptic message hidden deep within the graphic design. This Apple Pencil stylized drawing seems to further indicate iPad devices may be a large feature of the announcement. Regardless, we have Apple event wallpapers inspired by the new invitations.
