This tweak enables all Live Photos-centric features on unsupported handsets

Live Photos is one of iOS’ fun and quirky proprietary features that brings many of your photographs and wallpaper backgrounds to life. Unfortunately, Apple limits Live Photos functionality on many of its older handsets, such as the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, and SE, to name a few.

If you use any of the aforementioned handsets and you’re bummed about having a gimped Live Photos experience, then you might want to turn your attention to a newly-released jailbreak tweak called LivePhotoForNon3DTouch by iOS developer anima.

Mac Pro-inspired wallpaper pack

At the WWDC media event, Apple announced the brand new Mac Pro desktop computer. After years of work, the design team came up with a tower that optimizes cooling for optimal performance. In an attempt to provide both a visually appealing and intentionally useful design, the front and back of the tower are littered with small circular openings. Drawing inspiration from this design, today's Wallpapers of the Week collection includes images for iPhone and desktop.

Wallpapers of the week: edges and curves

On the eve of WWDC 2019, we submit another set of vibrant Wallpapers of the Week for your iPhone. The following collection is a mix of sharp angles and abstract curving swirls. Customize Control Center in new and exciting ways with Sareth

Apart from selecting the toggles and shortcuts you use the most, Apple doesn’t provide a whole lot of customization for iOS’ Control Center interface out of the box. This is a particularly good example of how having a jailbreak can pay off.

A newly-released and free jailbreak tweak called Sareth by iOS developer iKilledAppl3 now allows users to colorize Control Center‘s module groups and configure a custom background image for the interface.

Nereid offers a pleasant upgrade for the Lock screen’s Now Playing interface

iOS’ native Now Playing interface is good enough for most people, but if you demand more out of your user experience than the average Joe and have a jailbroken iPhone or iPad in your possession, then you may want to feast your eyes on a newly-released jailbreak tweak called Nereid by iOS developer Nepeta.

From what we can gather, Nereid brings an improved Now Playing interface to your handset’s Lock screen as you listen to your music. It can set your wallpaper as the Now Playing track’s album artwork, permit color and control customizations, and much more.

DockRemover hides the application Dock from your Home screen

Most people use the Dock on their Home screen for fast access to their favorite apps, but that isn’t the case for everyone; some jailbreakers, for example, run custom Home screen setups and may prefer to hide the Dock altogether.

If you fall into the latter group above, then you may take an interest in a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed DockRemover by iOS developer Blake Boxberger. As you've probably inferred from the name already, DockRemover hides the  Dock from your iOS device’s Home screen, offering a cleaner overall aesthetic.

These incredible, intentionally granulated images are the best contrast to our normal installment. Grunge wallpaper highlights your rebellious side, while still showing some class.
