Springtomize 3 updated with several bug fixes, improvements and new features

On the latest episode of Let's Talk Jailbreak, we discussed our love/hate relationship with the new Springtomize 3 jailbreak tweak. We love all of the customizable options it provides, but we hate a lot of the tiny bugs that came with it.

Twitter updates app with enhancements for Tweet replies and photo viewer

Folks who use the native Twitter app will be happy to hear that the social network has updated its official iOS client this afternoon. The update brings the app to version 6.1, and it includes a number of enhancements and improvements.

On the enhancements side, Twitter has made it so that users can quickly reply to a Tweet with a photo, as well as easily mention others when Tweeting a photo. And on the improvements side, it's made photo editing easier to do on the fly...

Apple releases iOS 7.0.5 with minor bug fixes for select iPhones

Apple has released a public update for iOS this morning, bringing the firmware to version 7.0.5. The release comes more than two months after iOS 7.0.4, and appears to only bring about a handful of bug fixes.

In fact, what the change log says is that the update is only available for certain models of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c sold in China—meaning many won't see it. It corrects network provisioning for the handset...

Google Search app updated with new Winter Olympics Google Now card

Google has posted a new update for its Search app this morning. The update brings the app to version 3.2.1, and includes a handful of improvements and a new Winter Olympics 2014 Google Now card.

The new card is really the biggest addition in this update, as it brings about support for the 2014 Sochi Games. Users will now be able to use Google Now to get info on medal standings and upcoming events…

Tumblr update adds new user mentions feature, notifications and more

Good news for Tumblr users this afternoon. The micro-blogging site has posted an update for its iOS client, bringing the app to version 3.5.3. The update brings about a handful of improvements, and a major new user mentions feature.

Mentions work on Tumblr just like they do on other social networks. Typing '@' and a username when you’re writing a post will generate a link to that person's blog and push an alert to that person letting them know they were mentioned...

Apple seeds third OS X 10.9.2 beta to developers

Apple has seeded the third OS X 10.9.2 beta to registered Mac developers this afternoon. The release comes just one week after the second beta, suggesting Apple is honing in on a final version.

The new build is available to registered Mac developers through the Software Update tab in the Mac App Store, or as a full download via the Mac section of Apple’s online developer portal…

Apple updates iWork for iCloud with iOS 7 design, new features and more

Apple posted a major update for its iWork for iCloud app suite today. The web versions of Pages, Keynote, and Numbers all received a makeover with a flattened, iOS 7-inspired design, a handful of new features, and various other improvements.

Readability 2.0 is out with new iOS 7 design and other improvements

Fans of the popular read-it-later service Readability will be happy to hear it has posted a huge update for its iOS client this morning. The app has been completely rewritten for version 2.0 with a new design and several other improvements.

The new design seems to follow the design language of other apps updated for Apple's iOS 7. The developers eschewed empty white space for gray matter, but text, images and various other UI elements match the redesigned OS perfectly...

Facebook updates Pages Manager with new post scheduling feature

Facebook has posted an update for its Pages Manager this afternoon, bringing the app to version 2.2.1. The update includes bug fixes and performance improvements, as well as a new feature for scheduling photo posts.

Apple releases iTunes 11.1.4 with Wish List and language improvements

Apple has released an update for iTunes this afternoon, bringing the software to version 11.1.4. Don’t get too excited though, it appears to just be a maintenance release with a handful of enhancements.

Adobe Reader app updated with new iOS 7 design and other improvements

Adobe updated its Reader client for the iPhone and iPad today, bringing the popular PDF reading app to version 11.2.0. The update brings about a number of improvements, including a new iOS 7-inspired UI design and upgraded navigation.

While I'm sure some people aren't going to like the new design, I think it looks way better than the previous UI. The black elements and bold text have been replaced by white spaces and thinner fonts, making it easier to browse and find things...

Apple has released the fourth beta of iOS 7.1 to registered developers this morning. The update, which carries the build number 11D5134c, can be downloaded OTA or via Apple’s developer center.
