We've seen something like this before, but you can never have too much of a good thing, right?
UsefulIcons is an upcoming jailbreak tweak that promises to add convenient shortcuts to your Home screen.
The various shortcuts cover everything from Voice Control/Siri, to respring and flashlight functionality. It's safe to say that this tweak will yield a varied amount of shortcuts, and you'll find at least some of them to be, well, useful...
Sometimes original ideas are hard to come by, whether you're a jailbreak developer, or an App Store developer.
For that reason I see tons of duplicate apps and tweaks that essentially replicate what has already been available.
With that in mind, even if I don't totally understand the purpose of a specific tweak, I still appreciate one that tries to do something different and original.
This is exactly how I feel about ClipboardEdit. It's a tweak that's certainly original, but I'm not exactly sure how I would use it, or why it would be even be needed...
One of the biggest features of iOS 5.1 is the new Lock screen camera functionality. In fact, we dedicated a post and video exclusively to the new Lock screen camera.

First there was CydiaBulletin, and then there was the dead on arrival Aptdate. These jailbreak tweaks were conceptualized and/or created to provide notifications whenever an app or tweak had a pending updated waiting in Cydia.
Due to traffic concerns, it's unlikely that either of these tweaks will ever see the light of day. That's unfortunate, but it's the reality of the situation unless the developers can come up with a way that won't put too much stress on the repo servers.
But what about the App Store? This sort of functionality would be useful for pending App Store updates as well, would it not? Thankfully, someone was listening.

SendAny and ReceiveAny are two jailbreak tweaks that work in harmony to let you send and receive unsupported files via iMessage.

TouchPosé+ is essentially the same finger tracking jailbreak tweak with a few more obvious options thrown into the ring. You'll find new features like custom image support, along with the ability to customize the circle's size and color attributes...
NCSettings is a free jailbreak tweak that adds an SBSettings inspired set of toggles to iOS 5's Notification Center.
While the description of the tweak may sound run of the mill, it's a beautiful looking widget that has a nifty trick up its sleeve.
