Get ready for Apple’s latest and greatest desktop operating system, it’ll be dropping in less than two weeks.
One week folks, that’s all the waiting you’ll have to do before getting your hands on the new iPad.
You can pre-order the new iPad starting today, with availability on March 16th — the same day as the new Apple TV.
Thankfully, the prices for the devices have remained the same as the current generation iPads, with Wi-Fi only flavors going for $499, $599, and $699 for 16, 32, and 64GB respectively. LTE models will go for $629, $729, and $829 for the same amount of storage space.
As with the current generation, there will be both black and white versions, with separate LTE models for both Verizon and AT&T…
Apple has officially released iTunes 10.5.1 to the public following several developer betas. iTunes Match has been in the final testing stages for months, and beta 3 of the cloud music service was seeded to developers over the weekend.
Alongside iTunes 10.5.1, Apple is finally releasing iTunes Match to the US public today after a two week delay. It’s finally here…
As was expected, people have begun lining up for the iPhone 4S around the world. Certain people have been in line for over a week now, and more are joining by the minute.
We’ve collected some photos of Apple Store lines for the iPhone 4S launch…
This morning, Apple finally announced the event where the company will unveil the new iPhone 5. The event will be held in Cupertino, on Apple’s campus, on October 4th at 10am. And according to the invite, the company will only announce one iPhone.
What we’re not sure yet is the launch date of the next iPhone. There have been countless rumors within the last few weeks, but nothing really credible. But this morning, The Next Web got word from a reliable source on the official launch date of the iPhone 5…
Twitter has coincidentally scheduled a pair of “Developer Teatimes” for October 10th and October 12th. The meetings will focus heavily on Twitter’s integration with iOS 5 — a feature that was announced by Apple at WWDC this past Summer.
Apple has also told its AppleCare division to expect a high influx of iOS 5-related questions on October 10th. Employee vacation blackouts have also been put in place for the 2nd week of October. Do we finally have our iOS 5 release date?
Apple has started denying vacation requests from employees for the 2nd week of October, indicating that the company expects a high influx of customers during that time.
Rumors have suggested that the next iPhone launch will take place in the 2nd week of October alongside the public launch of iOS 5 and iCloud. Apple is expected to hold its next media event on October 4th to announce its new products for the holiday season…
With Apple expected to hold its next iPhone announcement on October 4th, we’re all wondering when we’ll be able to get our hands on the iPhone 5/iPhone 4S. We can look back at history and guess, but 2011 has proved to be an entirely different roadmap for Apple. Anything could happen.
The first real hint at the next generation iPhone release date may have just been dropped, thanks to AT&T’s early upgrade policy…
This morning, AllThingsD’s John Paczkowski reported that Apple was set to unveil the iPhone 5 on October 4th. Paczkowski has a long history of breaking Apple news. Some even believe that Apple feeds him breaking stories from time to time. I guess my point here is that we can trust the guy.
Now that we’re pretty sure that the iPhone 5 will be showed to the world on October 4th, the question on everybody’s mind now is this: “When will we be able to purchase the iPhone 5?”
Another day, another random telecom CEO saying things that shouldn’t be said. France Telecom CEO StĂ©phane Richard has suggested that Apple will release the iPhone 5 on October 15th.
This particular CEO has a history of speaking on Apple-related matters, so take this claim with a grain of salt. It is worth noting that Richard’s projected date does match up with rumors that have pegged Apple’s iPhone announcement to take place in late-September, with carrier availability in early to mid-October…
We might just found our first reliable iPhone 5 release date rumor, and October 21 is looking like the magic day to mark on your calendars. The Verge has received a tip from a Best Buy employee that suggests the retailer is set for an ‘Apple fixture’ installation on the 21st.
What makes this seem so plausible is the continued rumor that October is indeed the timeframe in which we should expect an iPhone 5 to go on sale, with an announcement coming some time in the next few weeks. Does Best Buy know something we dont? It’s entirely possible…
Hot off the heels of yesterday’s rumor from BGR that pegged an August announcement for the next iPhone, Bloomberg has decided to enter the rumor mill and back up previous reports that put the next gen iPhone’s release at a September date.
Among a September release, Bloomberg corroborates other reports that Apple’s next iPhone will not, in fact, be a “radical” redesign of the iPhone 4, but instead a mere hardware boost.
